in 2017, we embarked on a journey as an online boutique, fueled by a passion and a vision to redefine local options of modern bohemian resort wear. our dedication and commitment soon led us to expand, opening our brick and mortar location in the vibrant sunshine state of forida. as our brand continued to evolve, we made the bold decision in 2022 to close our physical doors and focus on a year of travel and research crafting our identity into a distinctive label.
today, kairo the label produces collections based upon our exclusive prints and consciously crafted to capture the essence of coastal living and everyday resort wear. with a love for color and a dedication to quality, we offer small collections that are exclusively sold on kairoclothing.com.

trudy cairo a reckless optimist and fashion lover born in detroit but destined for a coastal life. after fashion school she began in retail and accessory design, then found her lane and thrived as a boutique owner. as a lover of small business and her loyal kairo following, she continues to design products and resources for them as kairo continues to blaze new trails.

as a labor of love for the small business community trudy created & launched a free fashion styling resource for small brands, boutiques, & digital creators. kairo styling offers art direction concepts for aspiring entrepreneurs who don’t have the resources yet to hire an entire creative team.
exclusive designs
while on her travels to australia trudy began her new roll as designer as she created the first collection of custom prints inspired by her travels. kairo partners with garment printers abroad to produce dreamy resortwear pieces designed for the heat.

many of our exclusive resort wear pieces are make with eco friendly materials including bamboo, cotton and linen. in our opinion the most sustainable, breathable and functional for warmer climates.
